I took this photo through a glass doorway in Vassar College’s Main Building. The bead-like object in the center is a corn-kernel-sized bubble of air trapped in the glass. I liked the contrast between the bubble and the window behind it.

I originally wasn’t going to use this one, and then I noticed how the camera had actually focused through the air bubble, capturing a sharper image of the background window. I thought that was cool.
